How to add a name, date, or correction note to PDF

Add the PDF overlay

  1. Choose the PDF and open the page that needs new visible content.
  2. Add a text box, image, highlight, drawing, or shape as an overlay.
  3. Check that the new wording is accurate and does not cover existing content.

Overlay editing versus changing existing PDF text

Adds overlays; it does not select, delete, replace, or reflow existing PDF text. Saving invalidates an existing cryptographic signature.
