How PDF Text Overlays Affect Existing Formatting

Add the PDF overlay

  1. Choose the PDF and open the page that needs new visible content.
  2. Compare the source and result to confirm only the intended addition changed visibly.
  3. Add a text box, image, highlight, drawing, or shape as an overlay.

Overlay editing versus changing existing PDF text

Adds overlays; it does not select, delete, replace, or reflow existing PDF text. Saving invalidates an existing cryptographic signature.
