How PDFKaka handles your documents

Browser document processing

The currently available tools process selected files in your browser. Your documents are not uploaded to PDFKaka during normal tool use, and results are downloaded directly to your device.

Phone signature transfer

If you choose phone signature transfer, only the signature image is sent temporarily between your devices. It is removed after transfer or within 10 minutes. Your PDF is not sent with it.

A visible signature image is not the same as a verified digital signature or identity certificate.

Application safeguards

Technical boundaries you can verify

• Normal tool workflows read selected document contents with browser code and create the downloadable result on your device.
• Website assets and configured analytics can still make ordinary network requests; the claim above applies to the selected document contents used by the tool.
• Response headers restrict framing and unexpected content types, apply a same-site content security policy, and limit referrer information sent to other sites.
• Tool-specific file-size, page-count, image-dimension, and processing limits are shown in each workspace and enforced before or during processing.
• The optional phone-signature flow is the documented exception: it transfers the signature image temporarily, but not the PDF.

What no website can promise

No service can truthfully guarantee perfect security. Keep original backups, review outputs before relying on them, keep your browser updated, and avoid processing sensitive documents on a device you do not trust.
