Choose a document with consistent page layouts
A shared crop works best when the pages have similar dimensions and margins. Mixed scans can require a conservative setting so content on an unusual page is not hidden.
- Keep an untouched original.
- Identify the unwanted outer areas.
- Check whether all pages use a similar layout.
Adjust the crop boundaries
Open Crop PDF and change the top, right, bottom, and left percentages while watching the preview. Leave extra room around signatures, page numbers, handwritten notes, and content close to the page edge.
- Select the PDF.
- Set the shared crop percentages.
- Inspect the preview before creating the result.
Verify the cropped copy
Cropping can hide content without securely deleting it. Use Redact PDF for sensitive selectable text, and always open the downloaded copy to confirm every page remains useful.
- Download the cropped PDF.
- Check early, middle, and final pages.
- Use redaction rather than cropping for confidential information.

Frequently asked questions
Can I crop different PDF pages differently?
Not in the current tool. One set of percentage boundaries is applied across the selected PDF.
Does cropping reduce PDF quality?
The page boxes are changed without turning pages into images, so visible content is not recompressed.
Can cropping permanently remove private information?
Do not rely on it for that purpose. Cropping is a layout operation, not secure redaction.
